Good Morning Little Schoolgirl

'Tis the first day of kindergarten. My heart is still skipping beats.

Taj Mahal, "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl"
Chuck Berry, "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl"
Lighting Hopkins, "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl"
Mississippi Fred McDowell, "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl"

Yea! She's so big. Finally - after everything - it's here!

Crossing those bridges. It's rough work, but it's good for her and you and me and everyone.

kisses and wishes!

Such a special occasion. I've still got a few years, but I am hoping you'll send some advice on how to handle it. And Im a school teacher for god's sakes and I can't even fathom the idea. Good for you guys. I hope you enjoyed this special day.

Zak

thank you my kind and generous guest posting friends... it was a pretty great day. she LOVED it. my husband had no doubt, i on the other hand, had worries. she told me afterward, "they really know what they're talking about at that school." a good day, a very good day.

I am smiling widely on yoyur behalf; warm, fuzzy.

My daughter started kindergarten today too... I am totally at ease. I think it's because she's such a natural social person and has absolutely no problem in that kind of environment. Or maybe it's because we've "been there, done that" with our son so it's not such a big shock to send another one off to kindergarten. It's just fun to see her so happy.

An important note

I have posted MP3s for sampling purposes. Many are old school and not available on CD. But some aren't. Some are current. Support the bands you like by buying their CDs, seeing them live, wearing their tees. I'm gonna leave songs up for about a week or so. Then, poof. If you own the song and object to it's placement here, by all means, let me know. I'm happy to remove.
